Become a Board Member with the Southland Kindergarten Association

Join our Board of Governors and help make a difference to Early Childhood Education in Southland.

The Board consists of 8 elected members plus ex officio positions of Executive Officer, General Manager, Advisory Support Teacher and two Staff Representatives.

In summary the Board's roles and responsibilities are:

• Overall governance of the Association
• Direction of the Association
• Long term planning - financial, facilities, services
• Policy development and review
• Consultation and communication

The Board meetings are held monthly, every third Wednesday. Members are required to attend meetings on a regular basis, read mail and be well prepared for all meetings.
