The Cottage Kindergarten is an all-day facility for 2 to 4 year olds. It is open from 8.15 am to 5.15pm from Monday to Friday.

The Cottage is open for 46 weeks of the year, it only closes for a week in two of the term breaks, public holidays and over the Christmas period.

The philosophy of The Cottage Kindergarten is that children are seen as competent and capable. They are encouraged to think creatively and make decisions for themselves so they become enthusiastic, independent learners. Children are genuinely listened to, they are encouraged to wonder, to be curious, to ask questions, to come up with their own theories about how things work in their world.
